The DCFF is staffed by some of the best local dance leaders, teachers, and callers in the Greater Midwest Region including Chicago, Milwaukee, Racine, Eau Claire, Madison, Green Bay, and St. Louis.

Join the village's individual businesses in celebrating the "holiday" season early!

Door County Plein Air Festival
July 19 through August 1

Beginning on July 19, the Peninsula School of Art in Fish Creek will host over 40 artists from Door County and across the country.  The artists have just six days to put the peninsula's magical storefront, fields, and architecture down on canvas.  Free events for families and visitors will be held throughout the week.  Paintings created during the week will be sold in the Peninsula School of Art's gallery and at a live auction.  For a complete list of events please visit www.doorcountypleinair.com.

Door County Festival of the Arts
Saturday, August 15

Located along the waters of Sister Bay and Ephraim in the heart of the Door Peninsula, the festival features Door County's finest artists demonstrating their skills, theatrical, literary and live musical performances, cultural tours, culinary delights and hands-on activities for all ages. Stroll along Sister Bay’s beautiful waterfront and explore all the different artistic avenues that are available!  Admission to the Festival is free and open to the general public.  Now in its ninth year, the Door County Festival of the Arts is a collaboration between the Francis Hardy Center for the Arts, the Sister Bay Advancement Association, the Village of Sister Bay, the Sister Bay Historical Society, and the Ephraim Historical Foundation.  For more information visit www.doorcountyfestivalofthearts.com.

Marina Fest
Saturday, September 5

This festival, traditionally held on the Saturday before Labor Day, was created to pay tribute to the Sister Bay Marina, which was rebuilt in 1993.  The village had such a great response to the event the first year that they decided to make it an annual event!  The festival includes all of the things that make outdoor festivals in Door County so great – live entertainment, food, and fireworks – but also features a water ski show by The Waterboard Warriors!

Amish Quilt Show
Friday, October 9 through Sunday, October 11

An annual, not-to-be-missed quilt show at the Sister Bay Village Hall!

Fall Fest
Friday through Sunday, October 16 – 18

The “Granddaddy” of all Door County festivals, 2009 will mark the 63rd annual Fall Fest in Sister Bay.  What began as a celebration and reward for the Door County tourist workers after a busy tourist season has evolved into one of the largest weekend celebrations on the peninsula!  A parade, arts & crafts fair, food booths, live entertainment, and children’s activities make this a “must-do” weekend, but the real fun lies in one of the Fest’s oldest traditions – the famed Ping-Pong Ball Drop.  An astonishing 10,000 Ping-Pong balls are dropped from the sky on Sunday afternoon, with a one in ten chance of winning a prize from a participating Sister Bay business!

Capture the Spirit
Friday & Saturday, November 27 & 28

What better way to prepare for the hustle and bustle of the holiday season than to spend your weekend in Sister Bay?  The cozy little village lights up for the holidays with special decorations and trolley rides throughout downtown Sister Bay with a tree lighting, caroling, visits from Santa, warming refreshments, live Christmas music from the local Gibraltar High School chorus, and an art fair in the Sister Bay Village Hall.  Capture the Spirit continues through Saturdays in December with extended shopping hours in participating Sister Bay retail shops.
